Week 18 - Monthly Results

Well I've stayed the same this week but for the month I'm down 3.6lbs. Hey it might not sound like a lot of pounds but I'm out of the 190's and into the 180's and I'm still losing inches. I also broke down yesterday and finally made it to Target to purchase new pants. The last pair of jeans I purchased were a size 14 and I couldn't button them at all. I was using my belly band to hold them up. Now they are literally falling off of me and I just couldn't take it anymore. So I went to the store and got 1 pair of jeans and 1 pair of bermuda shorts in a size 12 and I will wear these 2 out until they are falling off of me.
Well, I have new motivation to reach my pre-prego weight by memorial day. We've booked a trip to NYC for that weekend and it would be great to be at my goal by then. Hopefully I will be able to fit into some of my pre-prego clothes but I'm sure my body has changed so I don't know how that will translate into clothes size. I will press on to my goal and to continue to build upon my healthy eating and improve my workouts. Now that the weather is nice I NEED to get out and walk.
Any way, we are getting Lillian's 6 month photos Sunday. Yep, I said it 6 months. Time is flying by. She's getting more mobile and her second tooth is coming in. She loves her rice cereal with banana. She's also had a little bit of avocado and seemed to like it.
Making the baby food is actually really easy and I'm finding that it's very easy to just mash the food with a fork instead of using a blender. Here is the website that I used for information and recipes
