I'm Max Capacity

Monday, April 26, 2010

Over the weekend, the hubby and I were looking at folding chairs that we could use for my daughter's cheerleading or soccer games. The ones we saw were pricey so we didn't get them. Well today my hubby found some at Walmart that were only $9. Sounds like a deal to me! emoticon Well, then my my hubby texted me and politely said, "Babe, don't take this wrong but these chairs say max capacity 225 lbs, so you can't get back up to 230. " emoticon I didn't even know how to reply to that. Then he text me again and said that he had found some for $15 that had a max capacity of 300 lbs and did I want him to get those instead. emoticon OMG, am I max capacity now? I weighed in at 229 today but I refused to tell him to get the one that went up to 300 lbs. I know he didn't mean any harm by stating the facts but I don't want to be that person! That person who has a slim husband who has to find ways to accomodate his max capacity wife! emoticon Honestly, I knew I had gotten too comfortable at 225 but to hear him say that we could pay more to get chairs that hold 300 lb made me realize that I WILL be 300lbs if I don't get my act together. Wow, this is my Ah ha moment!!!! emoticon I WILL see some results and I WILL make my goal!

I'm sorry. I too have been at max and I know how frustrating it is to have a husband who does not suffer with weight issues. I know you can do this!
