Problems to fix

I have been avoiding it for two months but finally had a forced weigh-in at the doctor for regular check-up---BAD NEWS 26 lbs higher than two years ago and 20 lbs higher thn 4 months ago----PROBLEMS TO FIX----like no more dinner out w/bf and got to reduce the carbs for at least May-August. I expect it will take that long to kick off these 20 horrible pounds----and must start tracking the sleep. I'm still doing between 300-400 cardio minutes each week so something is out of whack with the food and sleep.

    Do you have hypothyroidism? Your TSH is kinda high, so maybe consider looking there if you haven't. Could be the reason behind the weight gain?? Just a thought. Your cholesterol labs are dreamy.

    There are ways you can make dining out still work. Number research the place you are going (so you know what you're eating). Then, pass on the bread. Go for the light dressing (even at Olive Garden), and get it on the side (dip your fork in the dressing and then get a forkfull of salad). Drink water instead of coke (even diet). Also, have them bring a box/bag with the meal and pack half of it away when you get there. I get my water with lemon. Its kind of "better bad choice," my family is starting to cook more, and make it family fun time.
