Day 12 =)

SO my scale is still broken, so i cant really track how this diet is going...but more than a diet it definitely IS turning into a lifestyle change!! =) Since i'm busy with school and finals, I dont really work out during the week, but I am smoking less and have found a way to turn my car into a sauna (thank you to the leather seats and sunny florida). At the end of the day as I drive home I put the windows up no A/C and let the heating do its job...its for a good 20 minutes and helps me sweat out some toxics WHILE blasting out the radio. I dont mind gettin home sweaty, it actually encouraged me to go for a quick bike ride on friday. Of course you have to be careful, since you ARE driving and have to pay attention so i wouldnt do it for longer time since sauna does get u drowsy.
Calorie intake has been predominately good. I lowered my calories to 1000-1200 and kept it there which isnt too bad at all. However, I keep reading up on things and Im really worried i may be making my body go into starvation mode since I am slightly active (like i do some walking around campus and weekend activities). But i am also afraid to consume TOO many calories =\ . Everything is so confusing. SOO i upped my calories to 1200-1400 this weekend, however I had much more yesterday and today about 1500-1600. But it was my "cheating" day. I had La Granja (amazing!!!) boneless chicken breast with rice & french fries. Since i've been staying away from fat I decided to indulge but not splurge (except on the splurge). However it was ALL I ate yesterday I had some shortly after waking then saved the rest for a bit later and rest for a bit later (portions are relatively big) and I tried to not eat past almost full. Today I did the same but I also had veggie turkey flatbread from DD. I went kayaking and mountain biking though, so I burned a decent amount of calories. Plus the differences in calories will confuse my body no? I wish I had someone who knows about this advice me with calorie intake and if what i am eating is ok.
I try to eat osme fruits n veggies. But not enough as I should be i dont think. However, I'm still at school all day and it is hard, so i keep checkin dine out for things to eat. I cant wait til seattle this summer where I will buy a scale (both for me and my food) so I can cook my own meals =) . Maybe it will help with the weight loss....if i'm losing any =\ im not sure it doesnt reli look like it...but i think eventually it will and long as im eating healthy no?
I want to do the p90x this summer...anyone heard of it? but for weight im mad confused about how eating 3000 calories a day will help =\ blah...Maybe i'll weight myself in publix..when noone is looking =X ...haha..well off to an all nighter for microbial ecology...nightersss

Hey, thanks for the comment on my page.

P90x is a good program. I haven't really been following the food plan with it. I have just been trying to make good food choices as best I can. I tend not to stick with set food plans. They backfire on me so I just eat healthy.

You do see results. I have lost almost two sizes since I started it. Not a whole lot of pounds but a lot of inches have been lost and my little "belly pooch" hasn't disappeared yet but it has definitely gotten smaller.

I got my copy of it from a torrent. you can find all the stuff you need there; nutrition plan and exercise schedules included. I'll send you my links when I find them again. emoticon
