Do You Believe Miracles Still Happen In Our Day?

Thursday, April 22, 2010

Tuesday was just an ordinary day for me. I went to the gym and my water aerobic classes as usual. I had a really good instructor that was a female retired army person. She was bent and determined to put a hurtin on us! I really was worked out that day!!!! emoticon I weighed in after I got dressed for the first time in a long time! As I am sure you remember the heartache I received from weighing in every week!(blog about still being a couch potato) I stepped on the emoticon and was shocked I had lost the 3 pounds gained and 2 more! I noticed my knees seem to not hurt me near as much as they did this past winter. I also notice that when I walk now my walk is quite different. I seem to have more control or balance of my body. I feel really, really, good! I have so much more energy than before. To me that was truly a miracle!!!!

This is all great, but I must tell you about this other true and amazing story that happened Tuesday! It has nothing to do with weight and nutrition! When I got home from the gym my daughter called and said that she had to keep my granddaughter out of school today! I asked her why and she explained that there had been a wreck at the school and that she just took my granddaughter home! She explained that a man and woman that we go to church with had pulled up at the school. The wife ( who was a teacher at the school) got out of the car, and had said goodbye to her husband and started to walk into the school. Her husband turned to pull off, when a brand new Ford Mustang came from behind at an accelerated speed, and pushed him and his car into the front entrance and cafeteria of the school. The car did not stop until it reached the eighth grade hall.

We do not know yet what happened to cause the Mustang to accelerate and hit the other car. They suspect a stuck gas pedal! The owner of the Ford Mustang was a pregnant woman. Her car was mashed in flat at the front. The woman went into labor and had the baby early. Both mother and baby are in good condition at the local hospital I work for! Is that not a miracle!!!!!!

The man laid unconscious for a while, and according to a paramedic I talked with yesterday kept asking where the older gentleman was that kept telling him he would be okay not to worry!!! The paramedics said they had all seen the strange older gentleman also, but when they turned to question him he was gone!!!! They thought at first that he might have been the door greeter that was there everyday faithfully to help escort the children inside the school. They found the greeter who actually stands daily where the car had been pushed into the school door. Strange thing is he was late for work Tuesday morning and wasn't the older gentleman that had comforted the teacher's husband until help arrived!!! !I know without a doubt who the older gentleman was do you ??? After having to have the car cut open the teacher's husband was taken to the same hospital. He has some broken bones and was released Tuesday night from the emergency room!!!! (according to my friends in communication who checked in on him for me )To me that is a miracle!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And to God's glory not a child or any one else was hurt in this incident!!!! Can you believe that!!!! To me that was a very big miracle!!!!!!

If you look for them you will see miracles still happen, even in this day and time!!!! Just like the miracle these two ladies experienced one Easter morning!!!!

My father always would tell me that I needed four guardian angels growing up and that he would ask God to dispatch them. So I believe some angels were working overtime. I love these stories!

I think you folks got to witness a number of miracles on Tuesday. I am so pleased to hear that everyone involved is okay and that no children were hurt in the ordeal. Pretty amazing when you consider all that happened.

Thanks for sharing and reminding us that miracles happen every day should we choose to take notice.
