P90X and it was only Day ONE!!

Well I started the P90X last night....................... (sigh)

I started with the Lean program which is more cardio workouts. Let me tell you how I was sweating like a pig. I felt muscles working in places I didn't even know I had. If you ever think about starting this program you really have to be ready, but the good thing is that the trainer tells you if you can't do certain things as long don't worry about it because you would gradually work your way to that point. So you really need to start out slow. He did make the work out fun with his side jokes. I really think it will work. I am going to continue to push forward and try to make my body strong enough to handle it. Day two starts tonight. Wish me luck.

    Welcome to the P90X! I am doing it too! Ya, the one word of advice i can give you, you already know....don't beat yourself up if you aren't to where they are in the workout! Progress, not perfection!! I really enjoy it especially cuz i workout with 2 other ppl doing it! don't give up!

    Yaaaaa! So glad you started P90X! It was awkward and weird when I first started and the sweat! Oh let me tell you! It is a gradual progression and don't feel like you have to be a pro when you start out. I am still learning all of the exercises and adding more to my reps each time. I am starting to see some changes in my body and I am sore, too, which means it's working.

    Please keep me posted and I'm glad you joined the P90Xer's!

    I have heard so many great things about P90X. I've been really curious to try it. I was doing the 30 Day Shred from Jillian Michaels for awhile and am up for trying something new. Good to hear that it's a great workout!
