I LOVE THE NUTRITION TRACKER. Okay, maybe I got a little carried away there. However, keeping track of what I'm eating during the day helps me make good decisions. I had been doing a great job of getting enough protein, but was often short on carbs. I realized I was afraid of carbs. When my weight was at its highest, my blood sugar was approaching diabetic numbers. I was scared by that since my grandmother died of complications of diabetes. My doc said to cut back on carbs. I guess took her advice a little too much to heart. Now, I can check my numbers and my graphs to see what I need to have a balanced day of nutrition. I hope it will help me next week when I am at a conference in Chicago trying out a Rick Bayless restaurant, a Russian Tea Room and a bistro run by the students at the Institute of Culinary Arts.
