I weighed myself...ugh!

Tuesday, April 20, 2010

Well, the video pretty much speaks for itself. I weighed myself yesterday and I was wrong wrong wrong about what I *thought* I weighed. Super disappointment and I'm slightly discouraged, but I will keep working on it. I did this in video this time because I want to be able to look back and see my progress, not only in how I'm feeling but also in how I look. *sigh*

It does vary and I think it must REALLY vary for women. I "thought" I would way less than my last week's weigh in... um, no. negative. So, yeah...I know how you feel :o) Who knows, maybe our muscles decided to gravitate, maybe we had to poop, maybe the scales are all defective with the full moon...who knows.

I just know it is up to us to keep pluggin along. Work on our new healthy lifestyles and root each other on. So, Tary

I didn't watch you're whole video but I do know how you feel. I had a really hard and discouraging time when I first started trying to get healthier and start losing weight. Get yourself a tape measure and have a friend or your hubby take all your measurements from your neck, chest, waist, tummy, hips, each arm, each thigh and each calf.

Don't rely on what your scales tell you to see how you are progressing! For the first 2-3 months I did not lose any weight at all not even 1 little ounce. But over that same time I actually lost 6 inches. In reality it is the inches that are much more important than the pounds.

Don't beat yourself up and just keep working on it because it is going to happen.
