Well I have been done with my work challange for almost 3 weeks now. I had wanted to lost 10 more lbs before I go on my trip to Florida at the end of the month. Well I havent lost anything. But on a lighter note Im not gaining either. I am staying exactly the same. Now I know that is going to happen during my journey to reach my goal. So, I am not letting myself get down about it. Instead I have been doing online research to try and shake things up a bit. I am looking for something different to try so I can start losing again. Also, I am not relying on the scale (as some here said not to do). I can see the difference in how my clothes fit so I may still be getting smaller just not seeing it on the scale.

I am proud of myself because usually this is the point where I say darn it and give up and gain it all back and then some. This time I am not going to do that I am staying strong and still doing my daily walks at work and still watching my calories. I have infact started adding more fiber to my diet as I have read that is a good help in losing weight. So, just because the scale isnt showing any change doesnt mean I am not making progress. Thats my story and I'm sticking to it LOL.

Well there is an edit to this entry LOL. I was down in our HR dept today doing some stuff and was able to weigh myself on the scale we used in our work weight loss challange and as it turns out I have lost another lb. I guess my scale at home just doesnt like me LOL. So, waht to do what to do. My scale at home is a new scale so I dont know whats up with that. Oh well such is life. Again I am going to stick with what I am doing and not give up but maybe replace the scale??? LOL

    Thanks for the tip KTANNAR. I myself am starting a new plan that will include more healthy fibers. I have been doing alot of reading up on different plans and it seems this one is a no brainer LOL.

    I have been there for a long time. But I started preplanning my foods for the next day and sticking to what i have allowed on my sheet of paper and the scale moved DOWN!

    If you want to join me this is my food for the day. I eat a lot of whole food and it helps me loose. I would love it if you joined me.
    Today I am having 2 buckwheat pancakes with almond butter on them for breakfast

    Lunch will be a miso soup home made with 1 cup of brown rice and about 1 1/2 c of mixed veggies , 1/4 c tofu

    Dinner 1 cup brown rice, 3 oz cod steamed, 1 cup broc , 1/2 cup winter squash

    snacks 1/4 c nuts and seed mix, 1 hard boiled egg, and apple, and a carrot.
