Beautiful Weather!

Monday, April 19, 2010

Wel we've finally had a few days of nice weather, up around 70 Degrees! Wow! What a nice change from the snow and cold we had a few days ago. Drinking my water and trying to eat healthy. Doing Weight Watchers on my own with a Friend! Trying to stay within my WW Points everyday, it's been really hard lately, I've gotta try even harder. Seems like I do ok till dinner, and that's where I have a problem. I think I might need to be using recipes where it lists the serving size and nutritional values for each recipe. That way I can be more on track, and it will be easier to figure out my points for each day. I'm not particularly a empty the box and add butter and water type of cook...lol...although that's much easier because it has all the nutrients listed on the side of the box, then all you have to do is calculate it out and your done! I'm looking forward to the Round 13 of the Biggest Loser Challenge starting in a few days. I've set my goals high to strive even harder.

Much Success to Everyone in their Weight Loss Endeavors!
Today is the 1st Day of the Rest of YOUr Life! Go For It!

Great to see you're back on spark! Just give the next round your best shot and i'm sure you'll do great. You've got some WW cookbooks and you know the websites that have their recipes...also the WWat home sparkteam here on spark has a ton of recipes on their page. If you make those you won't be cooking out of a box and you'll have the serving size and the points info already calculated for you. AND, if you have some recipes that you LOVE already just enter them into the spark recipe builder then use the nutrition info to figure the points per serving. I've done that with my all times favs. The points are pretty high on some of them but at least I know. Also, maybe some of the recipes you make can be frozen in individual servings. That really helps a ton when you are pressed for time and need something healthy. Even if Glen and Michael bring home fast food you could just pop one of your pre-made meals in to the microwave or oven. Temptation averted. I did that yesterday but it was a WW smart ones meal. You can do it you just have to believe in yourself and do what you know you need to do to get the job done! I'm so happy you're doing this with me! You're a fantastic friend!

    Hugs,
    Jen

I wish it was a little warmer here, it's always a little easier to exercise in the sunshine. Looking forward to BLC 13 with you! Good Luck! emoticon
