After having a baby almost 2 weeks ago via c-section, I am disgusted by how much weight I gained while pregnant. I didn't weigh myself while pregnant, probably a good thing, since then I would have obsessed over weight as well as everything else that pregnant women obsess over. Weighing myself yesterday, I discovered that I have 34 pounds to lose to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. Disgusting. Unfortunately, I cannot do any cardio, abs, or lower body exercising until at least 6 weeks after my surgery, which is around June. So, I am starting out slowly, counting calories and doing upper body workouts.
I would like to be back to my pre-pregnancy weight by August, since we are going on vacation then. I NEED to be smaller than I am now pretty quickly, mainly because I have nothing to wear! I refuse to wear my maternity jeans more than I have to, and the only other clothes that fit are pj pants. And I am NOT buying bigger clothes! REFUSE!
So here I am again, 34 pounds to lose.
