The 65 Challenge- Stage One

In December, I read a blog about a woman who had set a series of goals for her 49th birthday centered around physical activity. I pondered long and hard as my next birthday would be 65. Would I do something? What would I choose? Could I complete the challenges i chose.
I chose 65 sun salutations to honor the importance and influence of yoga in my life.
I chose 65 crunches to honor the strength training that has brought such health to me
I chose a 65 mile bike ride to honor the cardio work i do daily.
My birthday is Sat. April 17th. Today is the 16th, so I began my challenges.
This morning I woke up, put on yoga clothes, rolled out my yoga mat facing east and did 65 sun salutations in about 45 minutes and I feel great.
Tomorrow is the crunches and pampering - hair cut, pedicure, manicure, dinner out with friends and a play.
Sunday is the bike ride.
