Where I work my employer gives us $100.00 a month to stock the kitchen with goodies, at first I just ate everything in sight...now one of my co-workers is doing the shopping and she is trying to buy healthier snacks this helps but when you are on the seefood diet - I see food I eat it... So I'm determined not to use the excuse that if no one eats it, it will go bad.
If it goes bad (which of course it never does because the others eat it) then so be it. I have taken a tiny container to work and I pick out the healthiest choices and take that back to my desk and just nibble. This satisfies cravings and I'm not adding to many calories.
I've finally come to the conclusion that I'm the only one sabatoging myself because I have the power to say no. I'm determined to keep off the weight that I've lost. Six pounds so far yayyyyy!
I've always had some excuse like I have a bad back, or I have to be careful because of my neck. I've known all along that doing strengthening excercises will help these areas and so no more excuses. I've started doing some gentle exercises and will work my way up to the harder ones. I just had to realize that this isn't going to happen overnight. Slow and steady wins the race and my race has just begun. Happy losing everyone...till next time.
