Week 1 Reflection Tracking Is Key

Monday, April 12, 2010

I have been back on Spark for a week...tracking and exercising more. I stopped tracking last year and I regret that even more then stopping my exercising. When I track what eat...the truth is there in black and white. I can't forget that I ate something bad and hope those calories didn't count...they ALL count. Once I stopped tracking I started hitting my coworkers candy jar each day; they were small, so I would take three...that was an additional 200 calories or so that I simply forgot about. I have not had one piece since I started back last week...hmmm. I have been exercising again too...although I took some time off this weekend due to my Spring cleaning endeavor. I plan to run in the mornings and walk in the many days as I can. Also doing some Quick Fire exercises as many times as I can. Bought a new grill, mine is so old that it hasn't been very inspiring to use. The most positive action I took this past week was to clean out the fridge and stock it with YUMMY, healthy foods. I also made two Sparkpeople recipes for my boyfriend on Saturday and he loved both of them...he took home the leftovers. All in all, week one was a good one. My new goal is to make week two even better!
