I go to the doc, and really, I haven't budged in weight enough over the past two months. It's just to check on the thyroid meds. I have to work harder, and left to my own devices, I don't always take the best care.
New rule: Only veggies and zero calorie or veggie juice beverages after supper. That is going to be hardest a) because I've had several late night chow downs (though the amounts are still much smaller than once upon a time, and b) on nights when I'd like a cocktail.
I know the new rule is a remedial rule. When I make progress and have my total calorie count down and the exercise more intense, I'll have some wiggle room. I don't WANT the wiggle room right now. I want that scale to moo-oo-ooVE.
My daughter got me out and moving today. It was a good kickstart. I am a grocery (paper size) bag lighter of garbage. I have several "post Passover" organizational projects. Funny how cleaning the house for that holiday can spill over to more of the same -- well, at least I'm letting it do that. I'm looking forward to more of the same for the next few weeks, that is, some sort of lightening the load by getting organized or getting something done.
