Friend Feed Motivation

It's Saturday and I decided not to walk first thing this morning because it was still chilly. As Saturday's go, things came up all day, errands, family "check-in" phone calls, fix meals...you get the idea.

I finally got on the computer at 7:30 pm to enter dinner and my snack on the Nutrition Tracker, and I realized I had not walked today. Hmm choice time...it is Saturday after all, so for about 3 minutes I debated about not walking and being short for my cardio minutes this week. Just then I noticed the first post in my Friend Feed, it was a physical challenge from TheSparkGuyandTeam. Turned out to be just the motivation I needed, so I laced up the tennis shoes, put on a sweatshirt (it was chilly again,) set the MP3 to some moving music and I was off.

Just got back from a 2.8 mile walk and feel great! The crisp night air felt good, the neighborhood is quiet, and I had a good brisk walk. I am glad I got the little nudge from the Friend Feed.
