Meeting some of those life challenges head on this past week!

A very busy week with work made a challenging week for food choices, getting in exercise sessions and finding time to log into SP to keep track of it all. Add to that a hamstring strain mid-week after completing W4D2 of C25K and it's been a definite challenge. But again, all examples of what life can throw at you. Part of this journey is learning to adjust and make good choices, with whatever life brings..
I had several dinners out this week, so tried to manage my calories and types of food so that I had some "room" for the dinners. I chose fish, grilled veggies, sauces on the side , or salads with grilled chicken, dressing on the side, wherever I could.
With the hamstring pull I was concerned. C25K or power walking is such a big part of my day, I am afraid of too many days of inactivity..That starts the slippery slope I've been down too many times before!
Then, I remembered my bike!..Its a sunny cool day and I rode 14K. Didn't seem to impact the hamstring , but managed to get my heart rate up.
My time on SP was much lower this week, but I did manage to get in each day, log my eats, touch base very quickly with my support groups.
All in all I think I have coped with those challenges life sent my way this week!
