Taking matters into my own hands

Thursday night I moved most the furniture back into the family room (no carpet) by myself. It's my space and carpet or no carpet, I'm going to use it. I also ordered new interlocking floor mats that will cover my exercise room. It's due to arrive Monday. I'm continuing to use the "temporary" workout area for weight work but the treadmill is back in place in the family room so I did run yesterday morning. Yesterday, I called a couple different excavation companies to come and take a look at the problem in the side yard where the water is coming in through our daylight windows. I think it will be a matter of increasing the size of the drain running from the side yard to the road to take care of the flooding problem. Haven't received a call back from them yet. Still no communication with hubby...thanks for the comment on my blog smiles4383; believe me, I continue to think long and hard about my situation and what my options are.

My hips and thighs tends to bulk if I do too much lower body weight work or stepping. My goal is to keep from bulking too much by running 3 days a week and a once-a-week step or lower body weight routine. I've not tried this combination before so I'm hoping I will feel the strength as before but without the bulk. Today will be a 50 minute intense step/ab routine. Until tomorrow....

    I think your new rotation should work just fine. I bulk too. Yoga seems to help with my body shape a lot.

    I had that problem in a house too.....they had to grade the yard again to make swale's that went around the house and voila it worked! good luck!
