Nothing happened” blessings…

Saturday, April 10, 2010

It´s time to change to summer tires – mine were totally worn out when I switched to winter so I left them outside because They needed no protection.
Round christmas I observed that they were not where I putt hem but there was a lot of snow and to trying to search. WHen the snow started to melt I saw them piled up in the garage-to-be (it´s only the foundation so far) and thought that the lads that organized the plot had done that. So yesterday I planned to take them along to town and get new tires – and realized they were not mine because they were really fresh. Looked around – no tires. The rims were sort of fancy aluminium so I thought somebody had nicked them.

Total despair and fear – I have no extra money and the tires alone will be four thousand crowns… went to the AA meeting and tried to contemplate program and faith. Mantra: Everything is just as it is supposed to be, trust your higher power, it will be ok.

The knot in my stomach decomposed and I felt calm again although flashes of fear kept striking. Biked to the stables and groomed my horses, they are losing the winter fur and also rolling in mud so it was a nice, dusty chore.

Came home and decides to look thoroughly in all the building material that is piled up. Climbed and hauled and tugged the heavy tarpaulins – and hooray! found them!

It is kind of funny that I am in such a happy mood – because nothing happened….

I can also note that I had a day without bingeing, my knit saved me.

Thanks for reading

were the other tires a gift so you didn't need to get new?? Or is it a shared foundation?

I had a similar (?) experience with my cell phone and sunglass slip ons for my new driving glasses yesterday.

I could not find my cell phone and called and called and could not hear it ring. So I assumed I lost it when I was out and about and called all the places I went, gym, buying club, Target and Culvers (busted, bought a cone there yestereday).

So I went to the mall to reactivate my old phone (which I actually liked better than my newer phone) and they changed it over for free. Then my eyeglass store was just across the hallway from the phone store and I stopped in to find out how much it would cost to replace the magnetic clip ons I had for my new driving glasses and nearly fainted when they said $60. I said I guess I'll go home and save up my money. Thanks, anyhow. Then one of the guys in the store said, hey, we have an extra one in the drawer. He helped me fit it on my glasses and it was a close enough fit to use and said, "no charge." I felt so blessed to actually get 2 lost items replaced with no charge.

I have been stressed out lately (past year?) and been losing stuff. Need to get organized.

Anyhow, this morning I walked into my computer room and there is the lost phone lying behind my office chair. I think I will keep using my older red phone with the sparkle gems I added cause it is easier to find.

Hope I haven't bored you with my sillly story of "divine order."
