Baby Steps

I finally joined a gym. Today (tonight) was my 7th visit. After 8 visits they give you a free doctor visit on site. They have a family practice physician, a PT and sports meds doc and a couple of others I can't remember right now.

Tonight I did my weight training after 15 minutes of cardio and scrappy mag reading. Reading a scrap mag really makes the time go faster! AND... I'm finally getting to read my backlog of my 7 or so subscriptions...

So far I've gained a pound... but I know I've lost an inch on my waist. Not sure what inches I've lost elsewhere. I think I'll get measured next week.

The hardest part of the whole thing is DRIVING to the gym... once I get there it's not bad. So now I'm going 5 days a week (taking off the weekend) and I'm feeling good and feeling progress... one baby step at a time.
