Definitely Slacking Off!

Thursday, April 08, 2010

I do apologize for slacking off. I have majorly slacked off for the last week or two. I have a major sinus infection and it really is putting a damper in my fitness workouts. The last sinus infection I "sweated" it out, but I have no energy for this one. I haven't gone to the doc yet, I am trying to let it run its course, but if I am not better by next Monday (making it two weeks), I am going to have to get some antibiotics. I am tired of feeling like blah. On the positive note, I don't have much for an appetite so I haven't gained and am actually fluctuating between 229 and 228. This week I did move around a lot. My daughter's birthday was April 7 so I was on the move to clean my house and get the cake done, wrap presents, busy busy busy! So, I did burn calories. Tuesday I went for a walk, and tried to work up a sweat. It made me feel good, but of course, can't stop sneezing and having that runny, stuffy nose! So, my goal is to get up tomorrow and do a lil more sweating, if my body allows me to wake up. All it cries is sleep and water! So again, I apologize to my teams that I am unable to do a lot of workouts!

Thank you both for those comments. They really lifted my spirits! I hate being sick and feeling like I am not contributing! You are so supportive and that means so much to me! I love SP and what it does for my ego! Thanks again. I am actually going to attempt the gym, just walking, tonight. Even if it is only for 10 minutes!

No need to apologize kiddo. You are working the best you can when you are sick and I think you are doing just fine. You never need to apologize for being sick and having to take it easy.

    Hugs and friendship
