Week 3 to 26.2 - I'm on track!

I set my 26.2 pound goal on 3/25 so I'm almost 3 weeks into my challenge now. As of last night, I'm on track to meeting my goal. 3 pounds down. Even though I just started, I've already had some pretty major challenges. I had a road trip back home and had to make healthy choices at drive thrus, sacrifices at a birthday party, portion control at Easter and tried my best not to eat too much junk food and beer during March Madness. We also renovated our kitchen and were without the fridge, stove, or oven for a week. We ate out a lot and it wasn't pretty. But I've still been running and working out. I hoped this would help me maintain during the difficult weeks.
Week 1 and 2 were pretty hard. Week 3 has been much better so far. Either that or my scale just took mercy on me for trying. Is it possible the simple bathroom scale has become so advanced that it senses distress and can show me a loss just so I can be motivated to keep going? I swear, if I didn't know better...
