Yesterday I managed to score a Wii Fit Balance Board - dang, those things are harder to find than puppy teeth in the carpet!

My husband and I are REALLY enjoying using the Wii together - for the first time in my life I'm doing exercise that DOESN'T BORE ME TO TEARS.

We love the Walk It Off game. You step in time to music and the game counts your steps as you walk around an 'island'. You also have to click on tokens to 'build' things that you pay for with the steps you match to the beat. We usually end up cracking up - and today we spent 40 minutes walking at various tempos.

We set up the Balance Board - lol - it asked each of us at the end of our evaluations if we had difficulty walking without tripping. Smart-ass game! Yeah, we're dorks - it's amazing we can even walk to the mailbox without killing ourselves.

I love the Wii Fit Plus. There are a couple things, when it goes "Oww" when you step on and if you don't get on for a couple days it will actually scold you. Oh well, the price we pay!! I wonder how it would look in the front yard?? Ha ha!! It is my favorite way of exercise also. Love it so far!

Looks good! Not available in the U.K. yet though, just been having a look for info. online.

I reckon I'll get it when it's released... meantime, it's my doggy Rosie and me doing 'the real thing' - but without the music alas!

Hee hee. Yeah, it's a fun game system. Enjoy - there are so many variations, and it's easy to get absorbed in the games and not realise that you're burning calories as well.
