Please don't give up!! I feel your pain and frustration. Just last week I went through exactly what your feeling now and didn't treat my body so well in the process. Emotional moments for sure; just had a good cry before commenting on your blog post (which by the way is my first). The goal isn't a diet but a lifestyle change in healthy eating habits. Day to day life just brings us in contact with bad enablers trying to derail the change over process. Just getting the calories down is not enough; find any way you can to work a veggie or fruit in on meal plans. Don't skip meals, plan for several smaller ones. Change up your exercise routine about every 6-8 weeks. Get your system all charged up again to continue to the next goal point. Our bodies don't deserve the bad for us foods; it does deserve the good ones. Learning which is which and how to prepare it so we're satisfied is the hardest part. Although I am new at this, do not get discouraged. Sometimes, your body hits a plateau or sometimes it is water weight. Maybe, you should drink more water. Initially when I lost the ton of weight I gained back, I was drinking more than 8 cups of water. I took my weight divided by 2 and then divided that number by 8. it can take a little while. your body is probably laughing at you. it is saying "ok she think she can do this to me. well i will just wait and see if she is serious. Then it will surprise you. 3152 days ago
