Week 14 - Monthly Report

So I've had my ups and downs on the scale each week but I'm happy to report that I've basically stayed the same on the scale for the month of March BUT I've lost inches all around with 1 inch each in my waist and gut. My waist to hip ratio also went down so I'm headed in all the right directions.

On all that good news and I'm terrified of the weekend and it's Easter weekend to boot. I really get into an eating routine during the week that just turns to mush on the weekends. I feel like I spend all week making up for the weekend splurges. So this weekend will be my test. Yes, we will be out of town but that doesn't mean that I can't make healthy choices, right. It might be harder but NOT impossible. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". Well, if I believe that, then I should be able to conquer the weekend. So to keep me accountable, I will blog about the weekend Monday morning.

On another note, I wanted to tell you all about this journal that I've used in the past and I just purchased another one this week. I'm so excited to start using it. They have many different ones but that one I got was the BodyMinder Workout & Exercise Journal. I do really well tracking my Food on sparks but trying to track my Strength Training is just too much of a hassle plus I like to take the journal with me to the gym so that I know what I did last time and what I need to do this time. It's also a place for me to keep my measurements and weights. But like I said, the company makes about 5 or 6 different journals depending on what your goals are I can't wait to be able to use their new Maintenance journal.

My little precious baby girl will be 5 months tomorrow. Yep, I said it 5 months. She is sitting up better and better. She finally rolled over from back to belly the other day and I can't stop her from grabbing at my food. So in a few weeks she will start on cereal and then baby food. Did I tell you that I'm going to make her baby food? Well, that's the plan now. So we will see how that goes.

Well my Sparkfriends, I really do enjoy sharing this journey with you. I must because I can't believe that I'm still blogging once a week. I would have usually given up by now but you are the only ones that really understand this process and I appreciate the encouragement and support so keep it coming.

    You are doing really well. April will be a great month for you! I am a big fan of keeping a journal with my workouts. I usually write down everything I do then copy it online - it works for me really well and keeps me accountable.

    You are right - you can make it through this weekend! Try drinking a ton of water that always helps me when cravings come my way.

    Let me know how the baby food goes because I was interested in doing the same for Michaela when she is about 6 months.

    I CANNOT believe little Lillian is 5 months - how is this possible! It seems like yesterday.

    Great job on losing inches! Woohoo!

    I'm interested to hear how making baby food goes. That is something I want to do as well since I love to cook and baby food is SO EXPENSIVE!
