Week One!

I don't know where or how it came but I found the spark. I had been thinking about taking charge of my health, but I was always too busy to do anything about it. A couple a months ago several of my co-workers decided to enter a sprint marathon. And I thought about joining them. And I thought and thought about it, but I did nothing.

I hadn't fully committed to taking care of myself. I still wanted to sneak cigarettes, and have some drinks after work. Well... I don't know where or how it came but I started coughing every time I relapsed for a ciggie. I couldn't really enjoy it. Then one night I went out with my girlfriend for a couple of beers, and I didn't have more than two beers in three hours. Well the next morning I felt like crap. About a week later I tried the same routine with the same results. I wonder what is going on here?

Well when I decided to commit to being healthful, I gave it all up. All of it, all the time. What a gift to have my body back me up like that. Now I can focus on my body and my health.
