I'm such a WIMP, but gotta start somewhere!

So, I did W1D1 yesterday, or at least I tried to... I only "ran" the first 3.5 intervals, the rest I walked through. My calves were SCREAMING, so I'm assuming I need to ease into this just a little slower than I thought. When I go out tomorrow, I'm going to do every other interval... so basically run for one min, walk for three...
I took my dog, and was a little nervous about running with her. We've never ran before, and I was afraid she'd trip me up somehow. SHE LOVED IT!!!! She kept wanting to run more long after I was spent! She had started to consider my tennies as a sign that it was time to walk, and all winter when I put them on to ride the elliptical she was sooo sad. Making it up to her now!
I'm trying to figure out how to juggle the dog, the water bottle, and the back pack while running. It doesn't work the same as walking lol. I might have to invest in some new "equipment".
