I broke through a plateau. I've only lost one pound this week, but that's one pound more than the past 3 weeks. :) I spent this week working out and eating towards the higher end of my calorie range hoping to change it up a bit. It seems to have made at least a small difference. Even though it was only one measly little pound, it's one less that I have to drag around with me and I'm not going to miss it.

The weather has been weird all week and wreaking havoc on my sinuses. Sunday morning, we woke up to snow. Monday, it was sunny and 70 by the afternoon. Tuesday was a day full of thunderstorms. Wednesday, sunny and cool. Thursday, raining in the morning and sunny in the afternoon, but windy and cool. Today it's supposed to be in the 70s and sunny. The pollen count has been high. There is yellow on my driveway. lol I've been sneezing and at times have wished for my head to explode. :)

I will say that I have been accomplishing quite a bit. We've had a great homeschooling week.
I think Kathryn has finally got all her multiplication and division facts straight. Her reading has improved immensely and she's really starting to enjoy it. The house is looking good. All my laundry is caught up, the kiddos bedrooms are looking good, and now I need to get cracking on my own. All of my stuff gets left until last. lol Oh, and even better, as I was starting to sort my spring/summer clothes out, I am finding that all that stuff is probably going to be too big to wear if it's not already. :) Yippee! Not only does that mean I'm getting smaller, but I also get to go shopping for new clothes, and not dread it! :)

This weekend, dh and I are planning on starting to work in the garage. The weather has not cooperated, but this weekend it's looking like it might. This is going to determine whether we eventually have a garage sale, or just call some charity to pick up the stuff. Might even be a bit of both. We have boxes upon boxes of stuff stacked in there since we moved in here. We moved from a bigger older house to a brand new, but smaller house a little over a year and a half ago. What's nice is that very rarely have we had to venture out there to find stuff, so that means we don't need it. I do have a couple of things that I'm hoping to unearth, but not a lot. Who knows? We might even be able to get the mini-van in the garage when this is all done. LOL

Congratulations on the loss! I hope you are very proud of that one pound! I'm stuck in a plateau right now too-trying to change things up to get results but feel like nothings working. Drives me crazy. Anyway, Keep up the great work and enjoy it everytime the scale goes down no matter how much. emoticon emoticon
