My husband and I run a small in home (but growing quickly!) pasta business. We live in VT. We believe in eating locally as much as possible in order to know what you are eating and to get the most nutrition for the $. We make our pasta with all Organic Vermont grown wheat. We make both white and whole wheat pasta. Our ravioli is made with as many local ingredients as possible: local cheese (organic), local spinach and butternut squash (also organic). We are members of the Farmers' Market and try to support the small farmers by using their produce and cheese in our ravioli. The largest newspaper in VT recently did a write up about how we use Vermont Organic Flour in all our pasta products. Being involved in this "adventure" has made me realize how important "what you eat" is as well as how much you eat. Also, in this day of so much food poisoning and disasters, it's good to know exactly where your food is coming from! I'm proud to be able to add to the local community with our affordable, healthy, pure pasta products. All this said, today I cleaned out my cupboards and refrigerator of all artificial sweeteners, "diet" foods, and highly processed food. Simple is better! Check out our website at: VTpasta.com
