Last week I went to Arizona with my mom and sister and while we were there, my sister and I hiked up Camelback Mountain. Now, I work out 3-5x per week, I do ellipitical, tradmill, and weight training. I like to think I'm in pretty good shape, but damn, did that mountain teach me something! It was only a 1.2 mile trail, but it was a lot of rock climbing and there were parts that were so vertical you had to pull yourself up with a handrail. It was intense! I felt okay as we went up, but on the way down, my legs were shaking! And the I HURT. A LOT. This was on Thursday and I couldn't walk properly or work out until yesterday! My sister, who plays Division 3 basketball, was fine, of course, she's a beast!

As we were climbing I saw this old man run up and and down and then we saw him running back up again! I even saw people with their dogs! I may be in okay shape, but I still have a ways to go!
