Even amidst my silence, many of you know that I am Vegan and have been looking for ways to make sure I get all the nutrients I need in plant based form. A few weeks back I was dragging my tail and just couldn't seem to get out of my own way, exhausted all the time. I wondered if I was deficient in something so I made my way to the local herbal pharmacy. I found some awesome Vegan food products and this led me to the book and website Thrive! They have free Vegan (and allergen free) nutrition classes, recipes, and other goodies. I am so psyched that there is something out there that fits my life style and takes into account my specific allergens. Most books I have read on Vegan nutrition seem to push whole wheat and whole grain products where I have Celiac and can't do those. So...anyone who wants to look into Vegan nutrition, check out Brendan Brazier's Thrive. It's awesome.
