Not really Sparking

For me following SP is tracking my food and exercising and doing weight training. So in that sense I haven't been sparking for a while.

I'm trying to quit playing computer games though. In fact, I have quit playing computer games, and if I can go one year clean then I am rewarding myself with a yoga retreat. So I have been accumulating SP points by doing stuff as an alternative to computer games.

I'm managing to stay in the 150s, and my husband started doing yoga with me which is phenomenal. Spring is almost ready to spring and I've started growing some plants indoors to get ready for gardening season.

I would still love to get down into the 140s, and I would really love it if weight training became a regular part of my life, so I guess I'll keep blogging and reading and taking polls and see if that gets me back on track.

    The best thing is that you are trying! And that's great! There's so much on Sparks that you could make it your own computer game so to speak. (lol!) Whenever you run out of ideas for working out, remember to check out some of the exercise can even do that with hubby!

    You can get back on track. But doing Yoga is awesome and to have your husband doing it with you...that is wonderful...has to feel supportive and fun to have him there. Maybe incorporate some Pilates two or three times a week for additional strength and some cardio? Or maybe you can get your husband to doing even more with you like a speed walk race around a few blocks and amping it up to light jogging in intervals. But I am still just impressed he is doing yoga with you. SO many of us don't have any support. Whatever you decide, you can do will get there!

    I try to do at least 15 minutes of weight training or resistance band training every day. Sometimes I do arms with 3-5 lb dumbbells while watching TV or movies in the evening and I leave a resistance band and a printed off list of exercises at work so I can do some if I need a break! It sounds like you are doing a great job so far! Keep up the good work!
