Yikes!

Today is my weigh in day for most of my teams. My personal weigh in day is on Mondays, but I try to keep in step with my team buddies. :) Well, it was early, and I stepped on my scale. Ahhhh!!! 228.4, how in the world did that happen? I have been so good. I've been tracking everything, I've been walking my puppy, and working out on my gazelle. And lets not forget that exciting afternoon of scrubbing my driveway!!! LOL. While I wasn't too cranky about it, it just didn't feel right.

A couple of hours later, I thought to check again. Hmmm... It then said I was 233 and took forever to come up. Plus, the pretty blue screen just wasn't as bright as it was when I bought it back in January. I said to myself, "Self, why don't you change the batteries?" I did, and sure enough, suddenly the lovely 227.6 that has greeted me the past 2 weeks greeted me. I checked it again to be sure. Even had my dh get on it, and verified that it was now reading accurately.

So, while there was no loss again for the 2nd week in a row, there was no gain either. I'll take it. I will say that seeing the higher number didn't depress me, but instead jump started my day. The weight will come off, I just need to keep on doing the right things to get there. :)

Whew! Now if my weight loss would happen a little more like changing the batteries in your scale that might be nice! emoticon Smart girl you are! Have a great weekend.
