Thursday Gratitude & Abundance

Thursday, March 18, 2010

-I am grateful for carving out some time today at lunch to sit outside on the benches alone with my book and portobello organic burger.

-I am grateful for the lonely lady bug that landed on me at lunch- she reminded me that everything is not as it seems and to go with the "flow."

-I am grateful for my mom for accompanying me to the WNY CKO kickboxing class even if she just watched- it eased my jitters.

-I am grateful that our Bayonne CKO kickboxing is getting fixed from the water damage and is allowing us other club access- free of charge.

-I am grateful to receive the GLORIOUS news that one of my previous peer educators just got accepted to Columbia University's School of Social Work.
emoticon emoticon emoticon I am overwhelmed with emotion I didn't know I would feel.

-I am grateful for the opportunity to live in such a beautiful beautiful magical place- even though it will be short lived and my heart hurts at the knowing-ness that we must move on. emoticon

-I am grateful to have spoken to my old friend from Oakland- she revived my inner peace and reminded me that life throws us curve balls because we can catch them an because it is important to make room for new things & Other-ness.

-I am grateful for getting my butt beat today at a CKO gym that's new to me- different ambiance, instructor, etc- and it reminded me I have to change my workouts up and I have a ways to go. emoticon

-I am grateful to bump into 3 women at the other gym from the Bayonne gym! YAY! We took pics together with Carmen the bad a$$!

-I am grateful for the inspiration of Carmen the Bad A$$. She was over 250lbs when she started Kickboxing- now she's CUT UP and tight and slender but curvy in the right spots!!! I SWEAT HER!!! SHE-RO!

-I am grateful for my husband. He has my back when I can't hold my head up anymore.
