New PR hiking Mt. Pisgah! :)

One of my goal setting/progress monitoring tools is to time myself hiking up Mt. Pisgah. It is a mountain near my house that has about 1000ft elevation gain in a little under a mile and a half. It is a little under a 3 mile round trip hike.

Today I beat my previous PR of 27 minutes to the top and made it up in 26 minutes!! And this is only 4 days after doing a 9 mile run in training for a half-marathon in May! I am definitely doing something right in my recovery process these days because my last long run of 8 miles a few weeks ago took longer than 4 days to recover this much from!

I am feeling awesome, strong, and in great shape these days!
