Well, completed day 2 of the c5k program yesterday. Chose to run outside instead of on my treadmill. What a difference! The ground certainly is not as forgiving as the treadmill. I was really challenged! I had actually gotten to the point where I told myself its too early for me to start, that I need to lose more first. Then the voice of the accompanying podcast said"now you are ready to start your final running interval" Decided since I had made it that far, I could finish it.
Not feeling too bad today..Did a good brisk walk for about 40 min today.
Not sure if I will be running tomorrow or leave it until Saturday.
Out of town again tomorrow, so schedule is a bit tight.
Don't have my usual high energy, positive outlook today. Not sure why...
Fighting a pesky cough/ chest congestion thing, so maybe that has something to do with it.
Just need t o make sure I dont reach for the junk food to "feel better" ' cause that doesnt work!
