Week 3 Weight Watchers

I had less than a half pound loss this week. After such great losses the first two weeks I shouldn't be that disappointed but I am. Today I kind of feel like I did all this deprivation without much in the way of results. On the other hand, I do realize I'd been having a real problem with overeating and portion control but I'm taking steps to improve. And if I had continued to eat like I was eating I'd probably have kept gaining.

I realized this week that my attention span for a diet is about 2 weeks. I still stuck to it but I think I got kind of lax in the estimation of my portions.

    I have found that I will have a week or even two of great weight loss and then a couple of weeks of not much. But then I make up for it the next week by losing more. Just remember, its a marathon and not a sprint.
    I also had trouble making it past week 2. Before, I would just give up. But this time I stayed with it and now its much easier most of the time. I think the second and third weeks are the hardest, but you can make it.

    I agree with the taking the measurements....I gained one week but lost an inch. Your doing fine, but one thing worries me, if you are depriving yourself your leaving something out. Ww is all about eating good foods. If you eat the good stuff believe me you will fill up and actually can eat more. Get a food scale. that has been a lifesavor for me. Your doing great.

    I had a big loss weeks 1 and 2 as well, this weeks I was more lax as well so i threw in an extra work out, but any loss is a loss, so as long as you didnt gain that is good. Stik with it, you can do it!

    Sometimes the scale just doesn't move. Dont''t let it get you down. Put it behind you and move on. Next week is another week. Make sure you write eveything down. It is estimated that we forget about 25% of the food we actually eat. If you are more diligent you may see better results. Also make sure all your fruits, veggies, fats and dairy are accounted for. When you are on a low cal diet you need to make sure your nutrients are where they should be. It is only Wednesday so watch it on the weekend and you'll do great next week. emoticon

    My advice is to take your measurements and use that as a tracking tool as well. The scale doesn't always tell the truth, like if you're retaining water. Seeing the pounds go down is great, but it's also exciting to see the inches go down.

    BTW, I lost 65 pounds with WW online. It took me quite a while and came off slowly, but I learned weight loss is not a race but a journey. :)
