2 Hour walk

I can't believe I actually went for a 2 hour walk today! And I did not take it easy. I used my GPS so I could track my speed & I kept my average at about 3.2mph, which is only slightly slower than the 3.5mph I try to average on my shorter walks.

Looking back it is crazy to thing I actually walked for over 2 hours straight, but I really only feel a little more tired than I do after my hour long walks. I am thinking tomorrow I am going to have to either skip the walk & replace it with playing with the kids, or keep it shorter & slower like a fun exploring walk. Maybe I'll even let my son out of the stroller for a while so he can get some exercising done.

    Walking is great!! When I first started exercising to get healthy, I started by walking and dancing. I would put on music and dance in my living room. I danced with my 2 yr old grandson, and he LOVED it! Your son will probably love it, too.
