Started something new

Today I started the couch to 5K running program. Not sure what made me decide to try this, but I had been surfing new members spark pages and had noticed references to C25K. Intrigued I did some searching and learned about the program. Thought, what the heck, set a goal of July 1 ( Canada day) for my first attempt to run 5K. Nervous, as I have always suffered from tricky knees ( too much volleyball in my younger years). But did Week 1 Day 1 today, joined the team, and the message board for other folks starting today..
Another 5 lbs lost at weigh in today..I am amazed. Almost afraid to believe it.
Will wait until next week...in case its partially one of those monthly things :-)
