Day 11 Vegan

I am doing great on the Vegan lifestyle! I have lost 8 lbs since going Vegan! I am so excited, and I love the way I am feeling.
Today is my 1 day monthly fast. This is the only day this month I think I can fit it in, but I think this might be the last 1 I do. I feel great with the Vegan eating and not sure if the fast will help much anymore since I have that feel good feeling all the time with this eating plan. I normally fast to cleanse and find my focus, clear my mind body and soul. But I have been very alert and focus since changing my eating to vegan so I might not need the fast for the crutch anymore.
I made a pot of chili for me and one for family last night, Tonight it is beef veg for them and veggie for me. I couldn't believe my son requested veg soup when they just had chili last night but yeah easy dinner for me 2 nights in a row!
I found a lot of vegan protein bars yesterday Clif and Luna I bought like 16 different ones to try. The protein is the only this I am having trouble getting enough of well some days I don't get enough fat but that is only occasionally. My friend that went shopping with me yesterday helped me find all those bars. Good bless good friends. She cut my label reading time in half! LOL.

    You don't have to worry about getting enough protein if you eat a good plant based diet. Spark's recommended amounts are way high. I usually get between 30 and 40 grams a day. There is a lot of research out about this now.
