Well, I did it. I am in the 190's and I am never EVER going back to 200+ pounds. Reflecting on my success so far, I've learned the following:
Sometimes the scale just isn't nice, but that's not a reason to quit.
I am not sure if I want or LIKE to exercise every day, but I do it without thought now...it's just something I do. I actually don't like it when I can't exercise for some reason.
I actually CRAVE fruits and veggies now & other healthy foods. I still love my junk but I am learning to eat it like a "healthy" person.
I become full after eating less food.
I am recognizing the smaller "breakthrough" moments in my life - like I CAN go to Bunco and hang with my best girlfriends and not have it be about the cheesy dips, chips and wine. I CAN go out to lunch and save half my wrap for later, when I'm hungry again.
I really believe in myself again and I think I can do this!!!
Thank you SparkPeople!!!
