Tired and Bored

Wednesday, March 10, 2010

I don't know what it is but maybe I just reached a plateau. My weight hasn't changed in a couple of weeks. Still walking, usually 2 miles every other day and sometimes a mile on the off days. Strength training has diminished to almost never doing it. I need to get in the mode again..... Work has drained me a bit 10-12 hour days and not much time to do anything else. My mind is racing trying to think of things to do but too tired to do anything. The diet is going well and I feel great about that. Keeping between 1700 -1900 calories a day and eating very healthy. Thank god for the sparkle nutrition and able to follow my intake! Pretty soon my wife is going to have her lap band surgery done. Maybe more time I spend with her, the motivation and relaxation at home will kick something in me.

Dad, I know exactly how you feel! I get like that alot too, especially after working hard on my health for the past 5.5 months. It gets boring sometimes. I always like to read success stories on the computer, or look at before and after pics of people, try a new spark recipe or buy a new clothing item, I think you're in a smaller size now, right? Those things make me feel better and help me get motivated You should get a bike! Or you cna borrow Cliff's. I know you used to bike all the time when I was little, then you cna go when Mom isn't feeling up to it. Mom is way down in weight this week, and so am I! She is totally gonna make her 290 mark by surgery, and I am over my stupid stuck point of 254.something to 251.6 today!! Hope work slows down a bit for ya so you don't have to be there for so freaking long!

Well, I feel a lot like you. I haven't done my workouts in the last 3-4 days and don't have the energy nor the want to do them! I'm still eating pretty good and all but not sure what happened to my mood that I had going on. I know last week when the scale didn't move I was let down and I wasn't sure why! I have an appointment with a doctor in the morning that I've been looking forward to so I'm hoping after talking to her she can set me straight! I wish you luck and please keep me filled in on how you are doing! emoticon
