16 down!!!

Wednesday, March 10, 2010 has been a while since I have been on here, but it is not because I am slacking! It's mainly because I am working a lot and trying to squeeze in exercise every day! It's very tiring!!

Well, I joined the Las Vegas Athletic Club and so far I love it! One of my good girlfriends convinced me to join after telling me that she goes to spin class on Wednesday and Friday mornings. I decided to try it by myself first, so I wouldn't make a fool of myself in front her, and boy did I hurt afterwards! But after doing it gain a few more times I have found that I love it! It's so invigorating and motivating! And you can push yourself as much or as little as you want! I am now trying to do it at least 3-4 times a week, depending on my schedule.

In addition to exercise, I have been trying to make a lot more meals at home now! Fresh fruits and vegetables are staple, along with chicken and fish. And now I have no problem telling my boyfriend that certain places and foods are not in my "diet." He is now adjusting more to my eating habits!

I really want to try and lose another 5-10lbs by the beginning of April, since I am going home to visit friends at that time. They have not seen me in over a year! Better watch out ladies:)
