Cyclical blahs and lack of motivation

Back in the blahs again, you know, no motivation, can't seem to start that workout or walk. I looked back on my blogs and realized it was almost a month ago when I was feeling this same way. Seems to be cyclical. Good news is looks like I should be back in the swing of things again in a few days. Just hope I don't gain any weight back before then!

    Even if it's just a short one, try to get in some kind of activity. I find when I'm in this kind of mood or mindset, that once I push myself to start, I get it going. And you can always stop if you're not feeling it. I bundle up and go for a walk, or pop in a short yoga DVD for example...

    That is tough. Is there anything of a preventive nature you can do, when you know this time in the cycle is coming, that might help keep the motivation going, like a change in the routine or some other positive focus? I hope things return to normal asap!! emoticon
