P90X Week One Day 4

Made up my missed Ab Ripper X from yesterday. Dang, that hurts! TGI only 15 minutes worth! Any more and I'm not sure I could have finished it. I had to modify some sit ups to crunches but I stuck it out and now I have to do it again tomorrow! Ugh!
Yoga X - Let me just say that Tony's idea of yoga and my idea of yoga differ greatly! I LOVE yoga ... usually, but Tony's yoga is more like yog-ugh! He likes his Plank-Upward dog-Downward dog waaaaaay too much! I could have quit after half of them. I DID substitute after 3/4 of them. My arms and abs were screaming! To make things worse, I did 15 minutes of it in the AM and then started at the beginning and did the entire 90 minutes in the PM. My biggest complaint is my idea of yoga is alot less noise and alot more calm stretching and moving into the poses. Tony moves from one to the next way too fast for my liking in the beginning. Once he gets to the standing poses, he's moving more at my preferred speed.
I use to do yoga twice a week but it's been a few years. I was amazed that I was able to do some poses I had not done before but disappointed to find my range of motion was not nearly as good as it use to be. My hope is that I'll get back my range of motion after a few rounds with Tony. I use to be able to do a hands free shoulder stand but couldn't swing it tonight.
The thing that is surprising me the most is how quickly the sore muscles have eased. Two days ago, I was in agony. Today I'm only slightly sore.
