March Tasks

Tuesday, March 02, 2010

Well, February is gone already, I turned 21, we got a new couch and coffee table AND rug for the living room and I inherited a clunky, but usable set of adjustable-up-to-40lb of dumbbells. So here's what I got for last month..ish
1 Food: Eat more quinoa
I finished off my bag of bulk quinoa! yay! I probably had it every other day for the past couple weeks.
2 Exercise: Jogging
I went jogging...today, well I wasn't too great about getting out and jogging, but I have been hitting the rowing machine at my gym once or twice a week now. (I try to go on tuesdays and thursdays) I got one of my friends to come with me too, hopefully we'll make it a regular thing!
3 Well Being: Meditation
I think maybe this is not the thing for me, at least not right now. I still want to do this someday, but I think I should focus on other things right now. I've only done it.. once.

Ok so the new things I want to work on for this week are:
1 Food: Track it. I've been getting a little lax about my tracking, so my goal is to track every day this month.
2 Exercise: Kettlebells! They're great! I'm really enjoying my class at the Y, and I want to make progress with this form of strength training. So my goal is to do at least one more heavy strength training session outside of class.
3 Well Being: I need to focus on my sleep! Lately I have been getting really bad about sleep on the weekends, so my goal for this month is to keep my weekend and weekday schedules more regular. No more staying up until 2!

Sounds pretty good to me. You'll be able to accomplish this and much, much more. 8-)

Great job. I think taking time to set some goals is fantastic. Keep it up.
