Revising My Goals

ORIGINAL GOALS:

Short:
- Be below 400lbs before February 28, 2010
- Exercise for at least 60 minutes a week (this allows for 1 day where I don't have to exercise)
- Start taking multi-vitamins
- Get a job

Medium:
- Update www.fatgirlslim.org at least once a week
- Lose 50lbs by June 30, 2010
- Wear a NICE DRESS to my sister's wedding on October 22, 2010
- Lose 100lbs by December 31, 2010

Long-term:
- Reach goal weight of 145lbs by December 31, 2012
- Attend and graduate from University
- Move into my own house or apartment










REVISED GOALS:

Short:
- Be below 400lbs before March 22, 2010
- Exercise for at least 60 minutes a week (this allows for 1 day where I don't have to exercise)
- Manage 15 minutes on the treadmill

Medium:
- Manage 15 minutes on the bike
- Manage 15 minutes on the elliptical
- Manage 30 minutes on the treadmill
- Get a job
- Update www.fatgirlslim.org at least once a week
- Lose 50lbs by July 30, 2010
- Wear a NICE DRESS to my sister's wedding on October 22, 2010
- Lose 100lbs by December 31, 2010

Long-term:
- Reach goal weight of 145lbs by December 31, 2012
- Attend and graduate from University
- Move into my own house or apartment

    I'm glad you are giving yourself the freedom to alter timelines and shift goals around. Goals are great to have, but life does happen to us, and we sometimes get so bogged down in them we can't move forward at all. You CAN do this...good job!

    Very good planning. It's good to have all those goals. In my old age, I've found that the most important goal is to feel good when your head hits the pillow at night. In otherwords, today is the most important day. And sometimes the hardest. For me anyway. I hope you have a very very good today!
