Some real exercise...finally!

For the last week I have felt like I wanted to get out & do something, but just didn't have enough motivation to actually go out on my own & do it. I did some small workouts at home inside, but nothing really felt right.

Finally today (with a friend) I decided to just go out & get some walking in. We usually try to go in the evenings 3 days a week at our local school, but our schedules (and husbands' schedules) have been getting in the way. Since is was a nice day out (at least for early March in Minnesota) we decided to go walking outside. Had to deal with a lot of snow, ice & water on the streets (very few sidewalks were cleared & the trail still had a lot of snow pack on it) but it felt great!!! Hoping to do it again tomorrow, but I'll have to remember something to cover my ears & my son's hands (I brought a blanket for him but he would keep his hands under it). Its amazing how a little fresh air and some exercise can make everything feel better!!!
