March madness, fitness style!

Last nite, as husb consumed the last of a batch of cupcakes my friend Megan and I had baked, I had an idea.

"Husb," I said, "I think we should lose... um... 7 pounds this month!" (Yes, the number was as arbitrary as it sounds.) Husb grumbled a bit, albeit mostly in jest, and then agreed. Although he won't outright admit it, he's excited about it.

I'm resetting my counter and starting afresh w/ the husb, to put us on a level playing field. :o) He likes to think of it as a competition. I was plateauing majorly, anyway, so maybe a solid zero under weight loss will light a fire under me and get me going. I take motivation anywhere I can get it!

Wish me luck! Husb will never let me live it down if I don't make it and he does. ;o)

    I should suggest this to my hubby too. He has an all or nothing mentality and when he doesn't loose all the week in a matter of days goes totally off the wagon. Anyway, Good luck from another Beaverton Sparker!
