P90X- X Stretch

Saturday was my Rest OR X Stretch Day. I was going to have just a rest day, but I decided to have my friend Rachel over ( She's starting P90X today!) and we both did X Stretch.
X Stretch is an hour of stretching. That's it. The title makes sense now. :)
Some of the stretches felt really great, some of them were difficult and made me feel so unflexible!
We made it through 40 minutes because the urge to just chat with one another became too much!

I can see the benefits of X Stretch. Not only does get your muscles warm and helps them to feel great and ready for the next day of P90X, but it helps with balance, coordination and of course, flexibility( which I always need help with!).

I plan on skipping X Stretch next Saturday because I will be busy visiting with family and I planned my schedule with P90X Lean so that my rest day would be Saturday so I can enjoy my day and not worry about having to fit a workout in.

X Stretch would be good if you are stressed and need to work on loosening up any tight spots like the neck and shoulders.
X Stretch is boring, but it is an hour full of just stretching, so it's not supposed to be the P90X fan favorite. It does get the job done, though!
